NORMAN - The No. 11 Oklahoma men's tennis picked up another win at home over the No. 31 Baylor Bears to improve to 5-0 in conference play.

The Sooners took the early lead after winning the doubles point over the Bears. Freshman pair Hank Trondson and Asahi Harazaki picked up their ninth win on the season at the three line and freshman Kholo Montsi and sophomore Luis Alvarez clinched the doubles point for OU in their second win as a pair. On court one, fifth-year seniors and No. 68 Alex Martinez and Baptiste Anselmo were tied at five-all against Baylor's No. 29 duo Tadeas Paroulek and Zsombor Velcz when doubles play was stalled.

Montsi picked up his 13th win of the season when he topped No. 88 Zsombor Velcz at the two line. Alvarez extended the lead for the Sooners shortly after, winning 6-4, 6-1 on court four.

Junior Jordan Hasson clinched the match for the Sooners after winning a first-set tiebreak and taking the second set over No. 99 Devin Badenhorst.

When play was stalled, No. 16 Martinez was ahead in the second set after dropping the first set. Fifth-year senior Justin Schlageter was tied in the second set after winning the first set at the five line. Fifth-year senior Mark Mandlik split sets and was trailing in the third set when the match was abandoned.

The No. 11 Sooners face No. 5 Texas on Sunday, April 7 at 1 p.m. at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
