Sooners Travel to Tallahassee to Face FSU

NORMAN - The Oklahoma men's tennis team travels to Tallahassee, Fla. to compete against the No. 23 Florida State Seminoles in their third road match of the season.
The Sooners have a 1-1 record on the road with a loss against No. 6 Tennessee and a win against Tulsa last weekend. The Sooners were dominant in their last home match, earning a sweep against the Wichita State Shockers.
Oklahoma won the doubles point with wins at the one and three line. They would then go on to win all six singles matches without dropping a single set. Mark Mandlik had a solid performance, only dropping one game in his match.
OU then made the short trip to Tulsa to face off against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. The match ended with a Sooner winĀ and No. 125 Kholo Montsi coming away with a straight-set win over No. 74 Alex Okonkwo.
Mandlik lost the first set in his match but came back to win the second and third sets to win the match. Jordan Hasson took yet another win in singles, winning his match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. Alex Martinez took a first-set win, but dropped the second set. He battled back to win the match after a split-set tiebreak.
