NORMAN - The Oklahoma men's tennis team opens the 2024 season on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. CT against UTSA at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
Matches for the 2024 men's tennis season are free of charge and open to the public. Due to the elimination of concessions, fans are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks. Free donuts and schedule posters will be provided. The clear bag policy will be in place.Ā

Oklahoma welcomes back seven returners from the 2023 season, including fifth-year seniors Justin Schlageter, Mark Mandlik, Alex Martinez and Baptiste Anselmo and senior Nathan Han.
Junior Jordan Hasson and sophomore Luis Alvarez return for the Sooners as well.
Freshmen Hank Trondson, Asahi Harazaki and Kholo Montsi join the team for the 2024 season.
Head coach Nick Crowell enters his eighth year with the Sooners. Crowell is joined by associate head coach Ben Dunbar and assistant coach Manny Raga.
The Sooners completed the 2023 season tied for third place in the Big 12 and racking up a 9-4 record at home, while advancing to their 13th-straight NCAA Tournament.
Han and Hasson were named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Tennis Team, while Han went on to earn 2023 CSC Academic All-America third team honors. Alvarez, Anselmo, Han, Hasson and Schlageter were named 2023 ITA Scholar-Athletes, with OU named an ITA All-Academic Team for 2023.Ā
Anselmo, Han, Hasson, Mandlik and Schlageter were also named to the 2023 Spring Academic All-Big 12 Team.
The Sooners face Oral Roberts at home on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. CT.
