NORMAN – The No. 25 Oklahoma women's tennis team is set to close out the 2021 home slate on Friday as the Sooners welcome No. 31 Iowa State at 4 p.m.
The match will be broadcast on Bally Sports Oklahoma and streamed on the Fox Sports Go app.
OU was also previously scheduled to play West Virginia on Sunday, but the match was canceled after the Mountaineers suspended their season due to COVID-19 protocols.

OU (11-5) closes out the 2021 home slate on Friday as the Sooners welcome Iowa State. Oklahoma is 2-3 in Big 12 play and will look to level its league record against the Cyclones. OU leads the all-time series with Iowa State 43-1.
OU jumped to No. 25 in the latest ITA team rankings, marking the Sooners' highest ranking since 2014 and under head coach
Audra Cohen. It also marked the first time since 2014 that both the OU men's and women's tennis teams checked in to the ITA's top 25 – the Sooners' men's team is currently No. 21.
In their last weekend of competition, the Sooners picked up two wins over ranked opponents as they downed No. 41 Oklahoma State (April 2) 4-0 and No. 16 UCF 4-1 (April 4). OU's win over OSU marked the Sooners' first Bedlam victory since 2014 and the first under head coach
Audra Cohen. Additionally, the victory over UCF marked OU's highest ranked victory in Cohen's OU tenure (2017-present).
Junior
Ivana Corley was named Big 12 Co-Player of the Week for April 6. The junior notched two doubles wins over ranked opponents and clinched OU's Bedlam win since 2014 with a ranked victory in singles. Against OSU, Corley and her sister and doubles partner
Carmen Corley, routed No. 55 team 6-1 at the top spot before she defeated the No. 53 player in singles 6-4, 7-5 and clinch a 4-0 win for the Sooners. Against UCF, the Corleys powered past the No. 30 duo 6-4.
OU had a huge week in the last ITA individual rankings released on March 30. As a team, the Sooners are No. 33 nationally while four individuals – a program high under head coach

OU Athletics has announced that fans will not be admitted for 2021 matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center due to limited seating capacity related to COVID-19 precautions. Home and visitor student-athletes will receive a limited number of complimentary tickets on a pass-list basis.
