Men's Tennis Hosts UT-Arlington Tuesday

NORMAN – The No. 20 Oklahoma men's tennis team is set to host UT-Arlington in the final home match of the season on Tuesday at 3 p.m. CT.

The Sooners (9-10) split the weekend of Big 12 competition, defeating No. 21 Texas Tech 5-2 on Thursday before falling to No. 5 Baylor 5-2 on Saturday.

Despite the loss to Baylor, the Sooners' Mason Beiler came away with perhaps the biggest win of his career, downing ITA No. 9 Matias Soto 7-5, 6-1 at the No. 2 line, while Alex Martinez also picked up a gritty, 7-6 (7), 7-6 (3) win over Sven Lah on court three.

OU Athletics has announced that fans will not be admitted for 2021 matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center due to limited seating capacity related to COVID-19 precautions.

Home and visitor student-athletes will receive a limited number of complimentary tickets on a pass-list basis.
