LAST TIME OUT

Oklahoma is coming off an impressive road weekend, earning two conference victories. The Sooners secured a top-10 upset on Friday with a 4-3 win at No. 7 Tennessee in Knoxville before closing the weekend with a dominant 4-0 sweep of Kentucky in Lexington.

The victory over Tennessee marked Oklahoma's second top-10 win of the season, while the win over Kentucky completed the Sooners' first perfect SEC road weekend of the year.

Following the pair of road victories, Oklahoma jumped nine spots to No. 10 in the latest ITA team rankings.

Individually, senior Julia Garcia Ruiz leads the Sooners at No. 30 in the ITA singles rankings. Freshmen Edda Mamedova and Evialina Laskevich are also ranked at No. 63 and No. 71, respectively.

In doubles, Oklahoma features four ranked pairs. The duo of Roisin Gilheany and Gloriana Nahum holds the No. 1 ranking nationally. Laskevich and Mamedova are ranked No. 37, Garcia Ruiz and Oyinlomo Quadre sit at No. 40, and the pair of Laura Brunkel and Quadre comes in at No. 78.

Freshman Evialina Laskevich played a key role in Oklahoma's pair of road victories over No. 7 Tennessee (4-3) and Kentucky (4-0) last week, earning SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors.

The Minsk, Belarus native delivered a comeback singles win against Tennessee's Katrina Scott, rallying for a 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 victory to help lift the Sooners in the upset over the top-10 Volunteers. She followed with a straight-set 6-4, 6-2 win over No. 112 Julia Zhu of Kentucky for her third ranked singles victory of the spring.

Laskevich improved to 4-0 in conference singles action and also contributed in doubles play, teaming up with fellow freshman Edda Mamedova for a 6-4 victory over Tennessee's Catherine Aulia and Katrina Scott before securing a dominant 6-1 win against Kentucky's Reese Sager and Asuncion Jadue.
