NORMAN – The No. 11 Oklahoma women's tennis team (10-2) continues SEC play this week, hosting No. 13 Auburn (16-1) on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. CT at the Headington Family Tennis Center before traveling to Gainesville, Fla., to face No. 46 Florida (5-2) on Saturday at 12 p.m. CT.
Thursday's match against Auburn is Lunch Break on the Sooners, featuring a complimentary hamburger grill out. Fans are encouraged to take a break from work, enjoy lunch and cheer on the Sooners. Admission is free for all home matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
The Sooners' 2025 home matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center are open to the public and free of charge. Oklahoma follows a clear bag policy. Fans can follow the action through live stats or by watching on PlaySight.
Oklahoma is coming off a dominant Sunday doubleheader sweep at home, earning 4-0 victories over No. 62 Arkansas and Air Force.
The Sooners opened SEC play with a shutout of the Razorbacks, securing the doubles point before singles wins from No. 18 Julia Garcia Ruiz, Salakthip Ounmuang and Chloé Noël sealed the match.
OU carried that momentum into the evening session against Air Force, once again claiming the doubles point and cruising through singles play. Ounmuang and Gloriana Nahum added straight-set wins before Noël clinched her second match of the day to complete the 4-0 sweep.
Oklahoma enters the week ranked No. 11 nationally as a team.
Individually, Julia Garcia Ruiz leads the Sooners at No. 18 in the ITA singles rankings. In doubles, Oklahoma features five ranked pairs: No. 1 Roisin Gilheany and Gloriana Nahum, No. 32 Garcia Ruiz and Oyinlomo Quadre, No. 44 freshmen Evialina Laskevich and Edda Mamedova, No. 63 Laura Brunkel and Quadre, and No. 67 Chloé Noël and Nahum.
Junior Chloé Noël delivered a strong performance at the No. 4 and No. 3 singles positions to help Oklahoma secure a pair of 4-0 sweeps over Arkansas and Air Force on Feb. 22. The Neuville-sur-Sarthe, France, native opened the day with a straight-set 6-2, 6-4 victory over Arkansas' Alexandra Panagiotidou, clinching the match for the Sooners.
She followed with another strong effort against Air Force's Sofia Mavor, earning a 6-1, 6-4 win to once again seal the victory for OU. With the two wins, Noël improved to 7-3 on the year in singles and owns a 1-0 record in doubles play.
Oklahoma continues its road swing next week, traveling to face Tennessee on March 6 at 4 p.m. CT before taking on Kentucky on March 8 at 12 p.m. CT.
