NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma track and field team are prepped for the 96
th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas, held at the Mike A. Myers Stadium, March 28-30.
Oklahoma will begin competing on Thursday where field events start at 11 a.m. CT followed by running events at 4:30 p.m. CT. Friday's schedule begins with field events at 9 a.m. CT and running events at 9:35 a.m. CT. Saturday kicks off with running events at 8:15 a.m. CT and field events at 9:30 a.m. CT. Fifty Sooners will compete at the meet.
"Texas Relays is going to be a great early-season test against some of the best programs in the country," said head coach James Thomas. "We will have athletes competing all over the place in various events and sections. It would be three days of great track and field."

Clyde Hart Classic Rewind
Last week at Baylor's Clyde Hart Classic, three Sooners collected meet titles, 29 earned new career bests and nine recorded top-ten marks in the NCAA.
Olivia Lueking secured another meet title in the women's pole vault, measuring a 4.30m (14'1.25") jump.
In his collegiate outdoor debut, sophomore
Colton Rhodes took the men's pole vault title with a career-best 5.30m (17'4.50") mark.
Alexis Williams took second place with a 23.62 time and
Amanda Obijiaku registered 24.03 for eighth place in the women's 200-meter dash.
Paige Low put up a massive career-best in the women's shot put, recording 16.88m (55'4.75") for second place and the third-best throw in the NCAA so far this season. This toss also accounts for the sixth-best measure in OU outdoor history.
Angel Richmore recorded second place with a 46.01m (150'11") mark and
Amiyah Norwood grabbed ninth with a season-best 38.05 (124'10") throw in the women's javelin.
Zarik Brown earned second place in the men's 400m, clocking 46.16 for the No. 6 time in the NCAA so far this season.
Diego Trevino closed out field events for the Sooners with a title in the men's shot put. His season-best throw of 19.42m (63'8.75") is the third-best in the NCAA.
