Austin, Texas – The University of Oklahoma track and field team concluded Texas Relays Saturday night at the Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.
Olivia Lueking secured the women's pole vault title with a 4.40m (14'5.25") jump, the second-best mark recorded in the NCAA so far this season.
In the men's 4x800, the quartet of
Fernando Morales,
Gabe Medina,
Logan Seger and
Carlos Tello recorded 7:33.98 for fourth place.
In the 4x200-meter relays, men's squad of
Zarik Brown,
Richard Johnson,
Jaylen Barringer and
Gage Hensey registered a 1:24.54 time. On the women's side,
Alexis Williams,
Jada Atkinson,
Jayda Gibson and
Amanda Obijiaku clocked in at 1:33.64.
Jasmine Akins grabbed fourth in the women's triple jump (section A) with a 12.96m (42'6.25m) mark.
Agur Dwol registered 12.20m (40'0.50").
In the men's triple jump (section A),
BJ Green took fourth with a 16.14m (52'11.25") leap and
Floyd Whitaker registered 14.88m (48'10") for 12th place.
Shot putter
Paige Low recorded 16.59m (54'5.25") in section A for seventh place and Tuane Silver measured 14.68m (48'2") for 11th.
Two Sooners competed in the men's shot put (section A).
Diego Trevino registered 18.96m (62'2.50") for fourth and
Tucker Smith earned eighth with an 18.16m (59'7") throw.
The men's 4x400 relay closed out the day in the Cleburne Price Jr. university invitational.
Zarik Brown,
Richard Johnson,
Jaylen Barringer and
Gage Hensey clocked in at 3:05.44 for third place.
