NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma track and field team resumes their season at the Razorback Invitational, held at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark., on Friday and Saturday.
The two-day meet opens with the pentathlon and heptathlon on Friday, Jan. 19 at 11:35 a.m. CT. Day two will begin Saturday morning with track events at 11:05 a.m. CT and field events at 12 p.m. CT. 50 Sooners will compete.
The men's squad, ranked No. 11 in the USTFCCCA Division I national rankings, will compete against nine top-25 nationally ranked teams. The women's squad, ranked sixth in the Midwest region, will also face off against nine top-25 nationally ranked teams.
Last weekend at the Corky Classic in Lubbock, Texas, senior
Zarik Brown ran a personal-best 46.03 in the 400-meter dash for the second-best time in the NCAA so far this season. Five more Sooners are currently sitting in the top-25 nationally in their respective events.
