BOSTON – University of Oklahoma track and field closed out the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston Saturday night.
Four Sooners earned new personal bests.
Redshirt seniors
Nicholas Young and
Gabe Medina opened the competition with the men's 3000M race, both registering new personal records. Young grabbed an 8:10.19 time and Medina secured an 8:29.05 time.
Sophomore
Erin O'Brien recorded a new PR in the women's 5000M race with a 16:46.97 time, the ninth-best finish in OU history. Junior
Gabi Barrera earned a new personal best time of 16:58.44.
Junior
Colin Caso registered a 14:58.38 time in the men's 5000M race.
