NORMAN – Five
Oklahoma track and field distance runners are set to open their 2023-24 indoor season at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University on Saturday.
The meet is scheduled to begin running events at 10 a.m. EST followed by field events at 10:30 a.m. EST. A total of five runners are competing at the meet.
On the men's side, redshirt seniors
Nicholas Young and
Gabe Medina will race in the 3000M and junior
Colin Caso will race in the 5000M. Junior
Gabi Barrera and sophomore
Erin O'Brien will compete in the 5000M on the women's side.
Medina and Young will kick off the competition for the Sooners at 3:05 p.m. EST. Barrera and O'Brien race at 4:25 p.m. EST and Caso will close out the meet at 6:25 p.m. EST.
