LAST TIME OUT
The Oklahoma men's tennis team tallied a 6-1 victory over Louisiana in Fort Worth, Texas, Sunday afternoon, advancing to 12-4 on the season.
OU began the day taking the doubles point with victories on courts two and three. No. 64 Baptiste Anselmo and Mark Mandlik struck first, rolling through their match against Vasil Dimitrov and Oriol Fillat Gimenez in a 6-1 fashion on court two. Mason Beiler and Nathan Han clinched the doubles point for OU with a 6-3 win against Kacper Dworak and Calin Postea at the No. 3 line.
In singles, No. 64 Mandlik finished first with a quick 6-1, 6-0 victory over Postea on court four. Han continued OU's momentum with a 6-3, 6-4 win against Dimitrov at the No. 6 spot. Anselmo clinched the match for OU in 6-2, 6-2, fashion on court three against Fillat Gomez.
The remaining courts played out and the Sooners notched two more victories. No. 108 Jordan Hasson defeated Louisiana's Dworak 6-0, 7-5 on court five. The Ragin' Cajuns got on the board with a 7-6 (3), 7-5 victory by Sanchez Gonzalez over No. 68 Martinez on court two. No. 45 Beiler tallied the final win on the day, taking the top spot in 6-4, 0-6, 1-0 [6] fashion over Kajin.
