Women Claim 13th at Midwest Regionals

COLUMBIA, Missouri – The University of Oklahoma men's and women's cross country teams competed in Columbia, Missouri, Friday morning at the 2022 NCAA Cross Country Midwest Regional Championship. 

OU women's squad captured 13th place in the 6k with a total of 403 points. Freshman Erin O'Brien once again led the way for the Sooners, recording a 48th place finish in 21:05.9. In addition, six Sooners captured personal-best times on the women's side.

The men's team competed individually with sophomore Colin Caso securing 56th place in the 10k with a time of 30:38.4. Caso was followed by junior Jordan Gledhill who clocked a personal-best time (31:24.7), junior Fernando Morales (31:43.7), and senior Thomas Knepshield (32:33.3).
