Sooners XC Set For Big 12 Championship

NORMAN - The University of Oklahoma men's and women's cross country teams return to Stillwater on Friday for the third and final time this season for the Big 12 Cross Country Championship.

The squad heads into the postseason after competing at the OSU Cowboy Preview, Cowboy Jamboree and the Bradley Pink Classic. In their most recent race, the men and women ended the day setting numerous personal records. Jordyn Kaplan led the women with a total time of 22:18.6, while Jordan Gledhill paced the men with a clocked time of 25:20.3.

Last year's conference meet concluded with the men finishing eighth in the 8K race and the women placing ninth place in the 6K competition.

Live results for the 2021 Big 12 XC Championship will be available courtesy of PTTiming. The meet will also be aired on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ following the event.
