XC Closes Out Regular Season in Illinois

PEORIA, Ill. — The University of Oklahoma men's and women's cross country teams returned to action for their last regular season meet in Peoria, Ill., Friday afternoon at the Bradley Pink Classic.
Both squads ended the day setting numerous personal records. The men's squad placed 26th with a time of 25:34 in the 8K, while OU's women's team finished 27th with a total time of 22:53 in the 6K.
Senior Jordyn Kaplan (22:18.6) led the Sooners with a 74th-place finish. Senior Jordan Gledhill (25:20.3) took 90th to pace the men.
The Sooners return to the course Oct. 29 in Stillwater, Okla., for the Big 12 XC Championship.
