Ivana Corley Wins TCU Invite

FORT WORTH, Texas – Oklahoma junior Ivana Corley went undefeated in singles and doubles at the TCU Invite to take both titles at the event. Corley went 3-0 in singles action and 3-0 in doubles paired with Carmen Corley.
In singles, Ivana Corley defeated Arkansas' Tatum Rice 6-4, 6-4 before taking out Texas' Peyton Stearns in a 10-point tiebreaker, 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 [8]. She closed out the tournament with a 6-1, 7-5 win over LSU's Taylor Bridges.
In doubles, the Corley sisters took out Arkansas' Rice and Lauren Alter 7-6 on day one. The duo then notched victories over Safiya Carrington and Maggie Cubitt of LSU 6-4 and Texas' Stearns and Charlotte Chavatipon 7-5.
Elsewhere in the tournament, Carmen Corley defeated Cubitt (LSU) in a thriller, 3-6, 6-0, 1-0 [2] and Kianah Motosono got a win over the Tigers' Samantha Buyckxx, 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 [10].
The Sooners return to the Headington Family Tennis Center this weekend to host a Big 12 Series tournament Oct. 10-11. The event will closed to fans.
