Sooner Women Set For Stillwater

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma women's cross country team will run in its third competition of the season Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla. Oklahoma is slated to run the 5,000-meter race on the Oklahoma State course at 9:15 a.m. CT.

The Sooner women last competed at the Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin, Mo., which saw senior Molly Ferguson take 11th place as OU's top finisher. Ferguson was followed by senior Robin Ray who finished 23rd (18:26) and redshirt sophomore Myranda Joiner in who crossed the line 132nd (21:18).

Sophomore Lantana McGraw and redshirt freshman Abby Tillman made their 2012 season debut at the Missouri Southern Stampededwith times of 22:07 and 22:28, respectively.

The Crimson and Cream will run against Abilene Christian, Colorado Mines, Dallas Baptist, Harding, Missouri Southern, Missouri State, North Texas, Nova Southeastern, host Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Southeastern Oklahoma, Stephen F. Austin, Tamu-Commerce, UTEP, Western State and Wichita State.
