NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma women's cross country team will showcase their talent this weekend as they travel to Joplin, Mo., to compete at the Missouri Southern Stampede, Saturday September 15, at 8:30 a.m. CT
The Southern Stampede, one of the largest college cross country meets in the Midwest, will be run at the Missouri Southern Cross Country Course. This marks the second competition for the women since the season-opener at the Tulsa Hurricane Festival on September 1.
The Crimson and Cream will be running against athletes from Arkansas Tech, Bacone, Dallas Baptist, East Central, Emporia State, Greene County, Midwestern State, Missouri Southern, Pittsburg State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Arkansas-Fort Smith, Arkansas-Fayetteville, Central Arkansas, Incarnate World, Alabama-Huntsville and Tulsa.
