Cross Country Holds Steady in Regional Poll

OU Women Set to Race at Jamboree

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma women's cross country team races in its second competition of the season Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla. Oklahoma is set to run the 6,000-meter race on the Oklahoma State course at 9:15 a.m. CT.

Competing for Oklahoma will be Kelly Waters, Molly Ferguson, Robin Ray, Kelsey Brown, Hilary Krein, Natalie Crain and Annie Martin. This will be the first race at the Jamboree for the women, with the exception of Waters who placed eighth at the event last season.

The last event for the Sooners was the Hurricane Cross Country festival in Tulsa, Okla. Ferguson was the top finisher for the Sooners, crossing the finish line in fifth with a time of 11:11. Waters claimed sixth (11:13), followed by Krein in 20th (11:50), Ray in 23rd (12:23) and Crain in 24th (12:24).
