Erin Hon-Stringer serves as the Coordinator of Administrative Operations for Sport Programs and Student-Athlete Experience.
In this role, she serves as the director of operations for men’s and women’s golf and tennis, and men’s gymnastics, assisting with travel, budgeting and recruiting. She assists the student-athlete (SA) experience with planning and organizing events and SA initiatives.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in sport science with an emphasis in sport management from the University of Kansas, where she played soccer and was a member of SAAC. While at Kansas, she was named to the Academic All-Big 12 team, a Jayhawk Scholar Athlete, earned the team Most Valuable Player and Coaches Award.
Her family in Norman includes her wife, Shelly, children Sydney and Brady, their dogs, Cooper and Maverick and cats, Binx and Winnie.
Outside of work, she enjoys music, performance art and musical theatre, cards and game nights, watching sports, playing pickleball, making people laugh and having fun. She also enjoys traveling and went to 21 countries in Europe over three months, in addition to Argentina and Chile over a two-month span.
