August 30, 2025 | Women's Golf

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Oklahoma senior Savannah Barber fired her first under-par round of the season on Saturday, signing for a 1-under 71 at Pebble Beach Golf Links to move into a tie for 10th with one round remaining at the Carmel Cup.

The Sooners (8, +25) sit six shots outside third place and will look to climb the leaderboard in Sunday's final round as they chase a sixth consecutive top-five finish at a regular-season tournament dating back to last season.

Barber (T10, +1) surged into the top 10 with her steady 71, highlighted by two birdies and a bogey on the front nine before turning in a bogey-free back nine. The senior now owns 42 career rounds of par-or-better, the fifth most in program history, and will aim for her eighth career top-10 finish on Sunday.

Fellow senior Isabelle Schlick (T17, +4) delivered a strong second round, carding four birdies en route to a 1-under 71. The Bad Homburg, Germany, native climbed 18 spots into the top 25 and is in pursuit of her fourth career top-20 finish at Oklahoma.

MaKayla Tyrrell (T35, +8) rebounded from an opening 79 with a 1-over 73 to climb into the top 40, while junior Reagan Chaney (T21, +5) posted a 76 (+4) to remain inside the top 25.

Rounding out the OU lineup, freshman Audrey Rischer (T35, +8) matched Tyrrell at 8-over for the tournament thru 36, and sophomore Gracie Mayo (T47, +14) sits in 47th.

Tee times for Sunday's final round will be posted later on Saturday.
