NORMAN – The Oklahoma women's tennis team will travel to College Station for the 2025 ITA Central Regional Championships, hosted by Texas A&M University, October 6-9.

Only players and doubles teams that have yet to earn entry into the NCAA Championships and have made deep runs at the ITA All-American or ITA Regional Championships are eligible to compete. The event will feature a 32-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles draw. From these, six singles players from each section (24 total) will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (semifinalists and two quarterfinal playoff winners), while three doubles teams from each section (12 total) will advance to the NCAA Doubles Championship (champion, finalist and third-place team).

The Central Sectional Championships include teams from the Midwest, Central and Texas regions. Along with OU and host school Texas A&M, the field features Wisconsin, Kansas State, SMU, TCU, Baylor, Arkansas, Nebraska, Kansas, Notre Dame, Iowa State, Michigan, Texas, Texas Tech, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio State, Northwestern and Houston.

Four Sooners will look to punch their tickets to Orlando this weekend: Oyinlomo Quadre, Chloé Noël, Gloriana Nahum and Salakthip Ounmuang will all compete at the Mitchell Tennis Center. All four will take part in singles play, while Quadre and Noël will team up in doubles.

A tentative day-by-day schedule, as well as draws, can be found here. Live court streams will be available via PlaySight.
