Men's Tennis Ends Preseason in Arizona

NORMAN -- The Oklahoma men's tennis team wrapped up the preseason at the Sun Devil Preseason Invite in Tempe, Ariz.

The Sooners came away with 10 total wins, including five in singles and five in doubles.

"Arizona was a great preseason trip for us," said OU head coach Nick Crowell. "We were able to get a lot of work in and prepare for the upcoming season."

In competition with Duke, OU's Oscar Lacides, Asahi Harazaki and Vojtech Petr claimed singles wins. Three Sooner pairs (Bruno Nhavene and Lacides, Kholo Montsi and Jordan Hasson and Petr and Harazaki) took the doubles wins.

OU faced Arizona State next, with Lacides and Petr winning their singles matches. Doubles teams of Nhavene and Lacides and Petr and Harazaki also came out on top.
