Sooners Earn Seven Wins in Dallas

NORMAN – The Oklahoma Sooners completed their sixth fall competition over the weekend, returning to Norman with seven wins.

Freshman Vojtech Petr and sophomore Asahi Harazaki represented the Sooners at the Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge, hosted by SMU. Both Petr and Harazaki claimed two singles wins and the pair took three doubles wins over the course of the weekend.

Petr, Harazaki and teammate Luis Alvarez are still eligible to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships and could earn their spots at the ITA Central Sectional tournament from Nov. 7-10 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Three Sooners are already qualified for the NCAA Individual Championships, including one doubles team and two singles athletes. Senior Jordan Hasson and freshman Oscar Lacides qualified for the singles draw and Lacides will compete with junior Bruno Nhavene in doubles.
