NORMAN – The Oklahoma men's tennis team is slated to compete in the 2023 ITA Men's All-American Championships Sept. 30-Oct. 8 in Tulsa, Okla.
OU will send nine athletes to the tournament with
Nathan Han,
Mark Mandlik,
Luis Alvarez,
Hank Trondson and
Baptiste Anselmo beginning play Saturday in the pre-qualifying singles draw.
Justin Schlageter,
Kholo Montsi and
Jordan Hasson will begin play in the qualifying draw Oct. 2, while
Alex Martinez starts play in the main draw Oct. 4.
Six Sooners will also team up for doubles action. Martinez and Montsi, Anselmo and Han, and Hasson and Mandlik will appear in the doubles qualifying draw on Monday.
The final draws will be released at a later time.
The men's and women's singles quarterfinalists, consolation finalists, plus the doubles semifinalists and consolation finalists for each gender will earn automatic entry into the ITA National Fall Championships from Nov. 1-5 in San Diego, Calif.
