NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma track and field team is traveling to Lubbock, Texas for the Corky/Crofoot Shootout,Ā April 28-29.Ā Ā 

Action kicks off on Friday with men's and women's discus throwĀ at 1Ā p.m. CT. On Saturday, field events start at 11Ā a.m. CT, while running events begin at 2:00 p.m. CT.Ā

JOHN JACOB'S INVITATIONAL REWINDĀ 

The Sooners hosted the John Jacob's Invitational last weekend and garnered 11 first-place finishes on their home track in Norman.Ā 

On Friday, senior Diego Trevino collected a massive personal-best in the men's shot put with a launch of 65-04 (19.91m). His performance places him first in the Big 12 and second in the Oklahoma record books.Ā Ā 

Next, Kassidy Gallagher cleared 205-07 (62.67m) in the women's hammer throw for first place.Ā 

To conclude Friday's action, Payden Montana snagged first place in women's shot put with a throw of 57-05 (17.50m), while Abby Moore (16.51m) and Paige Low (16.02m) finished second and third, respectively.Ā Ā 

Saturday's competition started with Kassidy Sani launching for 139-08 (42.59m) in javelin throw to win first place. Ā 

Next, Olivia Lueking cleared 14-00.5 (4.28m) in women's pole vault to take first place, while Cassidy Bradshaw (4.18m) and Tessani Foster (3.52m) finished in second and fourth place, respectively.Ā Ā 

The Sooners success continued with David Warmington clocking a personal best time of 14.11 in the 110-meter hurdles for first place.Ā 

Then, in the 400-meter race, Richard Kuykendoll finished first with a time of 46.29. On the women's side, Ashonti Warner crossed the finish line at 55.08 for the victory.Ā Ā 

In the women's discus throw, Paige Low snagged second place with a personal-best throw of 175-09 (53.58m).Ā 

The women's 100-meter dash saw Kennedy Blackmon clock a time of 11.40 for first place. She was followed by Mikayla Hayes (11.62) in second, Eva Kubickova (11.71) in third. On the men's side, Carter Cukerstein ran a personal-best time of 10.54 for third place.Ā Ā 

Next, Jayden Louis-Charles cleared 46-07.25 (14.20m) in the men's triple jump won took first place.Ā 

To close out the meet, Jada Atkinson clocked a 25.09 in the women's 200-meter dash for first place. On the men's A'lajuwan Robinson crossed the finish line at 21.55 for third place.Ā
