T&F Hosts 2023 Sooner Invitational

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma track and field team is hosting the Sooner Invitational and Multis at John Jacobs Track Complex, April 14-15.

Action kicks off on Friday with field and multi events at 10:30 a.m. CT, while running events begin at 6 p.m. CT. On Saturday, field events start at 9 a.m. CT with multi events following at 10:30 a.m. CT. Running events will follow the national anthem at 1 p.m. CT.

K.T. WOODMAN CLASSIC REWIND

Last weekend, the Sooners returned to Norman with three first-place finishes.

Sierra Williams kicked things off in the women's 800-meter run and crossed the finish line at 2:10.81 for first place. On the men's side of the event, Isaac Barrera clocked a 1:51.46 to collect the second first-place finish for the Sooners.

Gabi Barrera took home first place in the women's 3k steeplechase with a time of 10:56.93, which is good for the seventh fastest time in program history.

Jordan Gledhill closed competition out for the Sooners and clocked a personal best time of 3:55.55 on the men's side of the 1,500-meter for 16th place.
