NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma track and field team will travel to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Arkansas Qualifier, Feb. 17.Ā Ā Ā 

The one-day meet is scheduled to begin with field events at 12:30 p.m. CT, while track events will kick off at 2:00 p.m. CT.Ā

TIGER PAW INVITE & WINDY CITY INVITEĀ REWINDĀ 

At Clemson, OU competed in the men's 4x400 relay race and finished in third place with a time of 3:03.71. The relay squad consisted of Zarik Brown, Richard Kuykendoll, Josh Bour and Muzuri Mattar. Their performance set a new program record and currently rank first in the Big 12.Ā 

In Chicago, the Sooners started Friday offĀ with a broken school record by Nikaoli Williams in the men's long jump. Williams jumped for 26-05.5 (8.06m) to surpass the previous school record set by Russell Adams (7.89m) in 1990. This first-place performance puts Williams first in the Big 12.Ā 

On the women's side of the long jump, Jasmine Akins jumped for 20-08 (6.30m) to take home first place and a facility record.

Back on the track, Ashonti Warner crossed the finish line first in the women's 400-meter dash with a personal-best time of 53.39.Ā 

The women's 60-meter dash saw Kennedy Blackmon (7.343), Eva Kubickova (7.40), and Mikayla Hayes (7.43) finish in fourth, fifth and sixth place, respectively.Ā Ā 

Saturday began with aĀ victory from Kennedy Blackmon in the women's 200-meter dash with a personal best time of 23.34.Ā 

Next, Tucker Smith took home first place in the men's shot put after throwing for a personal best 60-10.5 (18.55m). On the women's side, senior Abby Moore threw for 52-1 (16.1m) to claim third place.Ā 

In the women's triple jump,Ā three Sooners finished in the top-five: Jasmine Akins (12.57m), Agur Dwol (12.43m), and Symone Washington (12.31m) finished second, third, and fourth respectively. Ā 

Sophomore Olivia Lueking cleared 13-8.25 (4.17m) to take home first place. Ā 

Yazmine Wright won the 3k with a time of 9:07.62, which is good for a facility record and the second fastest time in program history. Ā
