Sooners Set for Final Fall Tournament

NORMAN – Oklahoma women's tennis closes its fall slate at the Big 12 Fall Individual Championships in Waco, Texas, Nov. 9-12.
The Sooners will be represented at the Big 12 Fall Championships by Ava Catanzarite, Romana Cisovska, Dana Guzman, Zdena Safarova, Alina Shcherbinina, Emma Staker and Florencia Urrutia. Guzman claimed the singles title in 2022 after a perfect 4-0 outing.
The fall-closing event serves as the Big 12 Conference's final fall championship and will include athletes from several Big12 schools.
Doubles matches will be played as one set, while singles matches will be best two-out-of-three with a super tiebreaker in lieu of a third set. Singles play begins on Thursday with Guzman and Shcherbinina kicking thinigs off at 1:30 p.m. CT.
