Lang Named An All-American Scholar

NORMAN – Oklahoma women's golfer Nina Lang was named a WGCA All-American Scholar for her efforts in the classroom, as announced the Women's Golf Coaches Association Tuesday.
Lang, a transfer from Baylor, made four appearances in the Oklahoma lineup and competed once as an individual last season.
Lang earned the honor for the first time in her career and it is the sixth consecutive season at least one Sooner was named to the team.
To be selected to the WGCA All-America Scholar team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.50 GPA. A total of 1,485 women's collegiate golfers from all divisions earned the prestigious honor.
