FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Oklahoma men's and women's track and field teams grabbed eight victories in their last regular season meet at the Arkansas Twilight in Fayetteville, Ark., on Friday.
 
Redshirt senior Lauren Jones started off the day by breaking the meet record in the women's hammer throw, marking 218-3.00 (66.52m). This marks back-to-back weeks breaking the meet record in the event.

Isaiah Levingston, a redshirt senior, clocked a season best and broke the meet record in the men's 400-meter hurdles, with a time of 49.24 for first place.

Anass Mghari, new to the Sooner squad, took first in the men's 800-meter run, clocking a 1:49.34.

Newcomer Adreanna Parlette leaped to first place in women's long jump, marking a PR at 19-5.25 (5.92m).

Freshman Olivia Lueking grabbed first place in women's pole vault, clearing 14-0.50 (4.28m), her ninth first-place finish as a Sooner.

The Sooners swept in shot put, with redshirt senior Cooper Campbell taking first for the men, throwing for 61-1.25 (18.62m), and junior Payden Montana throwing 56-6.50 (17.23m) on the women's side.

Junior Kayla Kurtz represented the Sooners in the women's javelin throw, marking a PR at 152-11 (46.60m) for first place.

In triple jump, sophomore Kunle Akinlosotu marked 47-2.25 (14.38m) (1.1 wind) for second place. On the women's side, senior Allanah Lee leaped to 39-7.25 (12.07m) (1.1 wind) for third place.
 
Edward Jeans, redshirt senior, took fourth in men's hammer throw, marking 204-2 (62.24m).

Khyland Wallace, a freshman, finished seventh in men's long jump, marking 22-10.75 (6.98m).

Also on the track, redshirt senior Camri Austin placed second in the women's 100-meter hurdles, clocking a season best at 13.20.

Junior Alajuwan Robinson finished second in the men's 200-meter dash, clocking a personal record at 21.16. 

Redshirt senior Marlowe Mosley took second in the men's 400-meter dash with a personal best at 46.12, while freshman Jaylen Barringer finished seventh, clocking a PR at 47.83.

In the men's 100-meter dash, Robinson was back to finish fourth with a time of 10.49, while redshirt senior Demarius Smith clocked a 10.53 for fifth. 

Redshirt senior Ja'Leesa Giles finished fifth in the women's 200-meter dash, with a time of 24.14.

Jordyn Kaplan clocked a personal best at 2:09.86 in the women's 800-meter run for sixth place.

UP NEXT

The Sooners will travel to Lubbock, Texas for the Big 12 Outdoor Championships on May 13-15.
