Carmen CorleyĀ came up shortĀ in the Round of 32 of the singles portionĀ atĀ the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex on the campus of the University of Illinois.Ā Ā

The Corley Sisters picked up their 25
th doubles win of the season, defeating Clemson's No. 30 Ali DeSpain and Samantha Buyckx 6-3, 6-1. The duo will play NC State's No. 1Ā Jaeda Daniel and Nell MillerĀ tomorrow.

Layne Sleeth faced California's No. 62 Haley Giavara and dropped the first set 6-4. Going into set two, Sleeth was down 0-1 before ultimately retiring the match. She ended her first season as a Sooner with a 21-6 singles record, primarily at the top court, along with being ranked as high as No. 9 in the nation.

Carmen Corley, ranked No. 53, fell 6-3, 7-5 to No. 44 Natasha Subhash from Virginia. She finished her singles season with a 17-11 record and ranked as high as No. 34 in the country.
