NORMAN - Oklahoma women's golf opens its spring slate at the Westbrook Invitational Feb. 27-28 in Peoria, Ariz. The 54-hole invitational will be played on the par-72, 6,230-yard Westbrook Village Vistas Course.

The Sooners concluded their fall schedule at the Olde Stone Intercollegiate and tallied a fifth-place team finish. Maria Fernanda Martinez recorded a career-best sixth place finish and netted her first top-10 finish in the Crimson and Cream.

She tallied four birdies in the final round and two birdies in her final three holes to finish with a 7-over 223. The redshirt junior tallied two rounds of 73.

Fernanda Martinez, Hannah Screen, Nina Lang, Libby Winans and Meagan Winans will make up the lineup for the Westbrook Invitational. Kaylee Vesely will be competing as an individual.

All three rounds will be played at Westbrook Village Gold Club - Vistas Course (par-72, 6,230 yard course).

FORMAT

Fifty-four holes will be played over two days with 36 holes being played Sunday, Feb. 27 and the final 18 on Monday, Feb. 28. Both rounds are an 9:30 a.m. (CT) shotgun start.
