Regionals Run Comes to an End

NORMAN – The Oklahoma men's tennis team's run at the ITA Central Region Championships came to an end Sunday with four players finishing in the quarterfinals.
Mason Beiler dropped a battle to Minnesota's Stefan Milicevic, 6-4, 7-5. Mark Mandlik was defeated by Kareem Allaf (Iowa), 6-4, 6-0. Stefano Tsorotiotis dropped to Tulsa's Kody Pearson, 6-2, 6-4. Jake Van Emburgh fell to Vlad Lobak (Minnesota), 7-5, 6-4.
Max Stewart picked up a win in consolation, topping Nebraska's Albert Sprlak-Puk, 6-4, 6-1.
The Sooners will return the court in January for spring duals. A schedule will be released at a later date.
