Two Sooners Garner Academic All-Big 12 Honors

NORMAN – Two members of the University of Oklahoma men's tennis team have been tabbed to the Academic All-Big 12 team, the conference announced Tuesday.

Senior Mason Bridegan and sophomore Adrian Oetzbach were named to the second team for maintaining a 3.00-3.19 grade point average. This is the first Academic All-Big 12 honor for both Sooners.

"I'm glad to see these guys getting recognized for their achievements in the classroom," said head coach Nick Crowell. "We are striving to excel here at Oklahoma on and off the courts."

The No. 3-seeded Sooners open the Big 12 Tennis Championship Friday with No. 6 Texas Tech at noon CT.
