Wood Set for NCAA Bryan Regional

NORMAN – University of Oklahoma women's golfer Hannah Wood is set to compete as an individual in the NCAA Bryan Regional this Thursday-Saturday at the par-72, 6,242-yard Texas Traditions Golf Club in Bryan, Texas.

The NCAA Bryan Regional is one of four regional sites with each location hosting 18 teams and six individuals. Six teams and three individuals not on an advancing team per regional will move on to the NCAA Championships, slated for May 20-25 at the Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore.

Wood, a native of Centennial, Colo., is coming off a share of 12th place at the Big 12 Championship after firing a three-round 217 (+1) for her eighth top-20 finish in nine tournaments this season. The sophomore boasts a 72.92 season stroke average (+1.12 vs. par) and has played 15 of 26 rounds this season at par or better, which is tied for second most par-or-better rounds in a season in OU history. She is currently ranked 77th in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings.

Wood will tee off from hole No. 10 at 8:50 a.m. CT with Wisconsin's Brooke Ferrell and Iowa's Amy Ihm. Live scoring from the event can be found at Golfstat.com.

FORMAT
Teams and individuals will compete in 54 holes of stroke play over three days (18 holes each Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
