The 2016 spring season shifts into high gear on January 22-24 for the seventh annual ITA Kick-Off Weekend. One-hundred-twenty teams - 60 men's and 60 women's - will compete across the country for berths in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in February.The ITA Division I National Men's Team Indoor Championships will be hosted by the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., Feb. 12-15.

The ITA Kick-Off Weekend sends three visiting schools to a host site for a four-team tournament. The host school faces the No. 4 seed and the No. 2 seed plays the No. 3 seed. The winners of those matches will come back the following day with a ticket to the 2016 ITA National Team Indoor Championships at stake, and the losers compete in a consolation match. A total of 22 universities will host this year's ITA Kick-Off Weekend, with eight schools hosting both men's and women's events.

Saturday, Jan. 23

10 a.m. Troy vs. UTSA
2 p.m. No. 2 Oklahoma vs. Utah State

Sunday, Jan. 24

10 a.m. Consolation Match
2 p.m. Championship Match

All matches will be played indoors.

Headington Family Tennis Center

Play will be held on the campus of the University of Oklahoma at the Headington Family Tennis Center, which features the Gregg Wadley Indoor Pavilion.

Admission is free for the duration of the tournament.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that Oklahoma has been a host site for Kick-Off Weekend. In 2015, Oklahoma defeated Northwestern 4-1 in the championship match to advance to the ITA National Indoors.
