FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Thrower Rylee Rackley continued her sensational season on Friday, taking first in the hammer throw during day one of competition at the John McDonnell Invitational in Arkansas. The junior won the event after throwing a distance of 183-11.00 (56.06m).
Sarah Tolson also competed in the hammer throw for the Sooners, finishing third with a throw of 174-6.00 (53.18m).
The only other event of day one that featured Oklahoma student-athletes was the men's hammer throw, which resulted in a second place finish for freshman Charles Nguyen (187-9, 57.23m) and a fourth place finish for sophomore Austin Perry (172-11, 52.71m).
