NORMAN, Okla. -- Four Sooners will compete at the 2013 USTA/ITA Indoor Intercollegiate Tennis Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., beginning Thursday, Nov. 7.

OU senior Guillermo Alcorta, junior Dane Webb, sophomore Axel Alvarez and freshman Andrew Harris qualified for the men's singles draw, filling Sooners in one-eighth of the 32-player bracket, a tournament high for players from one school.

Alvarez captured the ITA Central Region singles title in Tulsa on Oct. 21 to automatically qualify for the national tournament. He'll face Texas freshman George Goldhoff in Thursday's first round.

Alcorta, the draw's No. 2 overall seed, was a singles finalist and doubles semifinalist, with Alvarez, at the ITA All-America Championships in September. Alcorta begins the indoor nationals against USC's Yannick Hanfmann.

Harris earned his first victory of the season at the ITF's F27 Futures Tournament, fielded with a mix of amateur and professional players, in Mansfield, Texas, on Oct. 20. The Sooner newcomer meets Deni Zmak of Embry-Riddle in the opening match.

Webb was Alvarez's opponent in the ITA Central Region singles finals.  Webb faces ECU's Joran Vliegen in the first round.
