ATHENS, Ga. -- The University of Oklahoma's Costin Paval and Dane Webb fell in the semifinals of the NCAA Doubles Championships Sunday following a three-set loss to Ohio State's top-ranked Chase Buchanan and Blaz Rola at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on the University of Georgia campus.
The OU duo, ranked No. 10, took a 6-4 first-set lead, but the Buckeye tandem stormed back to take the final two sets, 6-3, 6-4, to advance to the finals.
Webb and Paval finished their first year as doubles partners with an 18-4 record, were named to the All-Big 12 team and became the Sooners' fifth and sixth All-Americans all-time after automatically qualifying by reaching the quarterfinals.
Head coach John Roddick has added four All-Americans during his three years at the helm.
Andrei Daescu teamed with Paval in 2010 to earn All-America honors.
