NORMAN, Okla. – The 22nd-ranked Oklahoma women's tennis team continues Big 12 play Saturday at the Sooners face No. 74 Missouri in Columbia, Mo., at 2 p.m. (CT).
Oklahoma (12-4, 4-1 Big 12) enters Saturday's match after suffering its first shutout in three seasons to No. 21 Tulsa last Wednesday, 7-0.
The Sooners hope to snap their two-match losing streak in their fourth-straight match against a nationally ranked opponent. OU lost to No. 9 Baylor on Sunday, March 27th, 5-2, prior to the Tulsa match.
Leading the way for Oklahoma is senior Ana-Maria Constantinescu. Constantinescu is nationally-ranked in both singles and doubles, coming in at No. 102 in singles and No. 66 in doubles with partner Alice Radu.
Missouri (9-6, 1-4 Big 12) split its matches with Iowa State and Nebraska last weekend. The Tigers defeated Iowa State, 5-2, on Friday, March 25, before falling to Nebraska, 4-3, on Sunday, March 27.
