Sooners Undefeated in Main Draws Thursday

Sooners Begin Season Ranked No. 17

NORMAN, Okla. - The Oklahoma men's tennis program checked in at No. 17 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings released Tuesday, Jan. 4.

Leading the way for the Sooners in singles is senior John Warden comprise the No. 38 tandem nationally after a stellar fall campaign.

The Big 12 is again well-represented in the rankings with five programs ranked in the top 17. The University of Virginia is the top-ranked school.

This season the Sooners will face six teams ranked in the top 15 and an additional nine teams ranked in the top 60.

OU opens the season in Norman on Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. against Wichita State.
