IRVING, Texas -- Five members of the University of Oklahoma women's tennis team were named to the Academic All-Big 12 tennis teams, announced by the Big 12 Conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Ana-Maria Constantinescu, Tara Eckel, Marie-Pier Huet and Maria Kalashnikova were named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team, while Kristina Radan was named to the Academic All-Big 12 second team.
The Sooners tied with Baylor and Iowa State to lead the league with five members each on the first and second teams. Oklahoma has placed at least one women's tennis player on either team every year since the conference's start in 1997.
