SAN DIEGO, Calif.—OU tandem Maria Kalashnikova and Kristina Radan captured the Doubles Red Consolation Championship Sunday as the Sooners closed their fall season going 14-9 at the San Diego State Invitational.

Kalashnikova and Radan edged out Brooke Bartlett and Kristina Smith of UC Irvine in the championship, 9-8 (3).  The win marks the Sooners' fifth tournament title this fall, including Tara Eckel's Singles Gold Championship win Saturday.

Radan lost in the Singles Black final, falling to Rebecca Kwan of UC Irvine, 7-5, 6-1.  Freshman Katelyn Connelly also lost in the Singles Black Consolation final to San Diego State's Roxanne Ellison, 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (6).

The rest of the Sooners went 4-0 in round-robin matches Sunday outside of the bracket finals.  Eckel defeated Washington's Lauren Summers, 6-1, 6-0, after winning her bracket's final Saturday.

Freshman Brittany Parks dominated Hayley Young of UC Irvine, 6-1, 6-2, in her round-robin match.  Kalashnikova defeated Sierra Ellison of San Diego State, 6-2, 6-4, after winning the doubles consolation final while OU's Marie-Pier Huet topped Ellison's teammate Julia Wais, 7-5, 6-1.
