NORMAN, Okla.-- The University of Oklahoma's Ana-Maria Constantinescu was ranked among the top 125 players in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association preseason rankings released Thursday.
Constantinescu, ranked 93rd, was also selected to play in the qualifying round of the 2008 Riveria/ITA All-American Tournament, Sept. 30-Oct 1. In her rookie season, Constantinescu went 24-9 in singles play and earned All-Big 12 honors. Constantinescu was also named ITA Rookie of the Year for the central region in May.
Constantinescu starts the fall season on Sept. 12 at the Razorback Classic in Fayetteville, Ark.
