Sooners Conclude Fall Season

SAN DIEGO, Calif.--The University of Oklahoma women's tennis team concluded its 2008 fall season Sunday at the San Diego State University Fall Classic II.

Senior Brittany Baldy fell to Sierra Ellison from SDSU in Sunday's Singles Flight C Championship match; 6-3, 6-2.  Newcomers Kristina Radan and Peta Maree Lancaster were defeated by Sujica and Kevey of San Diego in the Doubles Flight B Championship; 8-1.

In other doubles action, Marie Huet teamed with Maria Kalashnikova to capture the Doubles Flight A Consolation after defeating Xu and Ardies from the University of Washington; 8-5. 

The Sooners begin spring 2009 action in January and hope to build on their fall season's progress.
