Sooners Travel to Chicago

Sooners Look to Continue Streak

NORMAN, Okla.--The No. 42 OU men's tennis team looks to continue its
nine-match winning streak as it heads to California. The Sooners will
face No. 52 North Carolina State Saturday at 1 p.m. and No. 64 Fresno
State at Noon Sunday in Fresno, Calif.

"We are looking forward to competing against two ranked teams," OU Head
Coach Paul Lockwood said. "We have had a good week of practice and look
forward to the challenge of our trip to California."

Oklahoma is currently 11-1 on the season, with its lone loss to No. 10
Oklahoma State. The Sooners' freshmen Andrei Daescu and Vaclav Kucera
are currently ranked No. 60 and 111, respectively. Oklahoma also has the
No. 42 doubles tandem in junior Federico Chavarria and sophomore Rob
McKenzie.
