NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma men's tennis team (12-4) will host Lamar University on Fri., April 2, at the OU Headington Family Tennis Center in Norman. Action is set to begin at 2 p.m. Admission is free.

The Sooners are looking to add to their three-match home winning streak with another victory over the Cardinals. OU blanked Lamar, 6-0, in 2002. This will only be the second meeting between the two teams.

Head coach Paul Lockwood knew what he was doing when he signed juniors Ondrej Fukala (Prerov, Czech Republic) and Lee Gregg (Altus, Okla.) plus freshman Marek Velicka (Prerov, Czech Republic). Leading the way is Velicka with a 15-2 overall record, while Gregg is 14-2 and Fukala is 13-2 on the season.

Oklahoma crushed Oral Roberts last week for the second time this season with a 7-0 victory over the Golden Eagles. The Sooners then moved to Big 12 action, losing to No. 20 Texas A&M, 6-1, and No. 28 Texas, 6-0.
