Tennis Lands Six on Academic All-Big 12 Teams

OU Mens Tennis Takes On Oral Roberts

The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team (2-0) will take on regional opponent Oral Roberts (0-3) at the Philcrest Racquet Club in Tulsa on Fri., Feb. 4. Action will begin at 6 p.m. Admission is free.

 The Sooners defeated Oral Roberts twice in the 2003 season. Oklahoma swept the first match, 6-1, in Tulsa, and cruised to a 7-0 victory in Norman.

 After winning its first two indoor matches of the season over Oklahoma Baptist, head coach Paul Lockwood and the Sooners will be going for their first true road win Friday.  Oklahoma swept OBU with a pair of 7-0 matches. OU finished with 10 straight-set singles victories and only gave up a total of 11 points in doubles competition.
